Michael Beale's reunion with Steven Gerrard has been made official.
Al-Ettifaq has confirmed that Gerrard's old first-team coach at Rangers has joined the team as his new assistant.
The 44-year-old is back in work around 10 months after his last job in football as head coach of Sunderland.
The Saudi Pro-League side took to social media to confirm the move.

They wrote: "Michael Beale joining #Ettifaq family as assistant coach."
The former Liverpool and Chelsea youth coach also worked as Gerrard's No2 at Aston Villa, a post he left to become QPR manager.
