In his post-match TV interview after Thursday's Europa League win at Ibrox, Clement commented: "A football game on grass, it is always more pleasant for everybody to see and watch and to play.
"My players had a really good reaction to the disappointment of the weekend."
As the TNT pundits discussed the Gers’ tough run of fixtures in the coming weeks, including a visit from St Mirren on Sunday before a midweek clash with Aberdeen – along with European trips to Nice, Athens and Old Trafford – McInnes quipped: "And the good thing is they're all on grass pitches."
