The Daily Record claim Birmingham City are keen to strike a deal to sign Davies with an option to buy the defender at the end of the loan agreement.
It's claimed manager Chris Davies is keen to finalise a deal within the next 24 hours to allow the centre-back to feature against Leyton Orient this weekend.
Davies has played three times for Rangers this season so far but John Souttar and Robin Propper have been the preferred centre back pairing for Philippe Clement.
