Michael Stewart has continued his questioning of the match officals' performance in Rangers and Celtic's 3-3 draw at Ibrox at the weekend.
Celtic have called on the SFA to provide answers over the process that saw John Beaton initially caution Rangers winger Fabio Silva for diving before VAR intervened and sent the referee to the monitor for another look.
Beaton awarded a penalty when footage showed Celtic full-back Alistair Johnston had connected with the Portuguese star's knee.
Stewart, unconvinced the contact was enough to go down, offered a blistering commentary on BBC show Sportscene when viewing the incident for the first time and later posted on X: "The officiating is embarrassing our game. They’ve impacted the result in the biggest game of the season. Disgraceful."
And he's not showing any signs of letting the matter slide, insistent that a slight deflection off Johnston's foot absolves him of making contact in the box.
He said on X: "I do wonder if Nick Walsh didn’t see the initial touch of the ball, hence why he never showed it. He wouldn’t be alone. After the game I had to show the touch to someone who was completely unaware of it."
