Steven Gerrard has signed a new deal at Al-Ettifaq.
The former Rangers boss has agreed fresh terms at the Saudi club to remain as boss until 2027.
It comes just days after suggestions Gerrard could have lost his job at Al-Ettifaq over a nightmare winless run.
The club hasn't tasted victory since October 28 with five draws in their last nine outings.
But club chiefs have vowed to give Gerrard the time and resources to bring success to Ettifaq.
Club president Samer Al-Meshal said: “At the club, we realise the importance of stability, which we seek to establish through our desire to continue the journey with Steven Gerrard, out of our belief that the fruits of success cannot be reaped without patience and dedication.
"Gerard's successes, coupled with his leadership qualities and genuine commitment to the project, show that he is the right man for this stage.

"We are moving towards the future, drawing our strength from our ancient history and glorious sporting heritage, and I believe that we are on the right path to return Al-Ettifaq to the podiums.
"We will work together to ensure that Gerard has the time and resources necessary to move forward on our journey to the top where we belong.”
Gerrard commented: “The renewal decision brought a lot of positive feelings for me and my family, as it was the culmination of the hard work and true dedication that everyone showed from day one.
"From the beginning, we realised the size of the responsibility and the number of challenges that awaited us, which prompted us to invest in creating new infrastructure, such as new training facilities and building a new stadium.
"We have achieved remarkable progress in these projects, as a result of the mutual trust between me and the club management. We also look forward to the future and to returning to the podium.”
He added: “When it comes to football, the priority is always short-term goals. However, the new president is focusing on building a long-term sports project and we have a great consensus on the level of views."
