Ex-Rangers midfielder Graham Dorrans feels the Light Blues should bring Ryan Kent back to the club if the opportunity arises.

The Englishman joined Fenerbahce on a free during the summer transfer window but has struggled to make an impact in Turkey.

Kent has played just 14 times so far this season, scoring once in Europa Conference League qualifying.

And Dorrans feels it would be worthwhile bringing the winger back to Ibrox but admits boss Philippe Clement will have his own ideas about the sort of players he wants to sign.

Speaking on Go Radio, he said: "He's been there and done it. "The last three or four months of his spell went downhill a bit but it will be determined by if the manager has seen enough of him, if he sees fit to bring him back in.

"He might have come in with his own players in mind, people he wants to bring in. In terms of what Kent can bring, you've seen it.

"Rangers are lacking players in the wide area, you've got Ross McCausland coming in as the only real winger at the minute with Matondo being injured.

"It's definitely an area that needs improved and needs number. If there's an opportunity to get him back, I think they should."
