RANGERS fans have been sent an urgent travel warning ahead of their upcoming trip to Liverpool.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side take on the Premier League giants at the beginning of next month on matchday three of the Champions League.
The Light Blues go into the match with zero points from the first two group games, having been beaten 4-0 by Ajax and 3-0 by Napoli.
A double-header against the Reds awaits shortly after the international break.
And while it's only a short European journey down south for the fixture, supporters of the Ibrox club have been warned not to travel by train.
Rail workers' union ASLEF have announced they plan to strike for the day of the match - which is on Wednesday, October 5.
This will likely impact on huge numbers of Gers fans hoping to reach the game by train.
Rangers' supporter liaison officer Greg Marshall has told fellow fans to make alternative plans for the commute.
He tweeted: "Supporters traveling to Liverpool: Please note, due to potential industrial action on 05 October 2022, supporters are advised not to travel by rail for this fixture.
"Further travel information will be available following our stadium visit next week."
