Ryan Jack is making positive strides in his latest comeback from injury as he took to the field for the Rangers B team in their Glasgow Cup semi-final clash against Queen's Park today.
Jack, 32, has been sidelined since a Europa League tie with Benfica on March 7.
And his manager Philippe Clement recently suggested the midfielder could make a return to first team action before the end of the season, with Rangers still chasing a possible domestic Treble.
He has made 24 appearances this season for both Rangers and Scotland, and he's eagerly anticipating the chance to feature again, especially with only three league matches and the Scottish Cup final remaining this month.
Jack will also have ambitions of being included among Steve Clarke's 26-man squad for Euro 2024, so playing 45 minutes for Rangers reserves in a 2-1 victory at the training centre this afternoon provides a step in the right direction - even though time may not be on his side.
His contract with Rangers expires in June, and his seven-year Ibrox tenure is set to conclude as Clement gears up for significant squad reconstruction over the summer.

Discussing Jack's current injury timeline, the Rangers manager said: "He is a difficult one. He was on a good way back last week but then he felt it again so we are looking for other solutions to get him back.
"We lost some time there so week-by-week we are looking for solutions. It's a problem with his calves and it's something that's already there for years.
"It's something that needs to be solved but I'm also not a manger who wants to get a player back for one game and then he's out for three months."
