Allan McGregor: Absolutely nothing to do in the first half with Rangers completely dominating proceedings. Soon after the restart, a lapse in concentration caused him to spill a shot which was poked behind for a corner. Flapped at a punch for Kilmarnock’s goal which he won't want to see again any time soon. 6

James Tavernier: Not hugely involved early on, playing too many square balls inside, but had some good corner deliveries. A penalty on the stroke of half-time capped off an easy 45 minutes for the captain. His second 45 was less routine as a few misplaced passes caused some loud grumbles from the Ibrox crowd. 6

Connor Goldson: Scored after five minutes. Dealt with Kilmarnock’s attacking threat with relative ease. Often stepping into the midfield area to win possession back and pick a pass. Seemed to be fouled as the ball was knocked down for Kilmarnock's goal. As usual, he was on the front foot and very comfortable. 7

Ben Davies: No questions asked in the early part of the game. Some shaky moments one-on-one where the ball got in behind him but all in all a solid showing and used the ball well. 6

Borna Barisic: Occasionally able to get on the ball in advanced positions but there weren't too many meaningful contributions. The Croat doesn’t look full of confidence but continues to get high and wide to provide an option. He allowed a 53rd-minute cross to flash across the Rangers goal and Kilmarnock couldn’t convert, hitting the side netting. 5

Nicolas Raskin: The midfielder impressed in the first 45 with his energy and intention. Liked to play one-twos to progress the ball, moved it quickly and got into positions to receive again. Tried a shot on 42 minutes after a strong run from midfield which culminated in a VAR check and penalty to Rangers. Sprayed a lovely pass out to fashion Sakala in the 48th minute and then nearly got on the end of the subsequent cross. Caught on Rangers halfway line a couple of times in possession at the start of the second half. 7

Ryan Jack: Provided a stable base behind very fluid forward players. Still looked capable going forward. Fashioned a chance on 14 minutes after a lovely run and lay-off to the edge of the box. A constant agitator to Kilmarnock in the first half and very tidy on the ball, keeping Rangers ticking over. Booked for a bad challenge in the 53rd minute. Dependable on and off the ball. 7

Todd Cantwell: Extremely attracted to the ball, both in possession and out. He and Jack surrounded a Kilmarnock player in the 11th minute and after a nice one-two played a lovely ball in behind the defence that Skala just couldn’t get under control. Drifted out of the game a bit but showed good grit to win to drive his team forward in a sloppy second half. Continued his levels until a late substitution and was the best performer over the course. 8

Fashion Sakala: Everywhere in the first half and kept going after a couple of early misses. Was always an option early and got on the ball with regularity. Had a big chance on the 15-minute mark saved by the Kilmarnock keeper and again on 17 minutes. Not perturbed by either miss, Fashion got his goal midway through the half after a tenacious start, side-footing the ball into the net. Another busy, energetic showing. 8

Ryan Kent: Lovely skill and cutback for Sakala who couldn’t get a proper connection for what looked like a certain goal early on. Played a nice reverse ball into Barisic on 27 minutes but the Croatian was unable to pick out a blue jersey. Another simple ball into Antonio Colak who took a loose touch and fired over followed. Lacked an end product at times. 7

Antonio Colak: Saw a left-footed shot saved but the rebound was scored by Goldson. Playing mainly between the goalposts, allowing his creative players to move freely around him and offering a passing option. Protected the ball and used it well when picked out and could've scored on another day. A good afternoon overall for the Croatian. 7
