Kemar Roofe and Filip Helander have not been included in Rangers' Champions League squad after recent injury struggles.

The Ibrox men travel to Amsterdam to face Ajax on Wednesday before games against Napoli and Liverpool in Europe's elite tournament.

And neither Jamaica international Roofe nor Sweden star Helander will be available for selection after missing out on the squad.

The rest of the 25-man list is as expected with the currently injured Tom Lawrence and Ben Davies included.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst gave an update yesterday on the club's injury situation.

He said: "Ben Davies is training at the moment. Kemar Roofe is also close to rejoining the group hopefully in the next couple of weeks. John Souttar and Filip Helander will be a longer absence.

"I hope I can give you more of an update after the weekend. Ianis Hagi is doing his programme. Hopefully, we get him back after the World Cup break. As I said before, Hagi is on schedule but it is a long-term injury so hopefully, we have him back around Christmas."

Clubs had to submit their squad lists by 11pm on September 2nd.

UEFA's website states: "Every club must submit two lists of players, including details such as shirt number, date of birth and nationality. List A needs to be submitted to the relevant association to be verified, validated and forwarded to UEFA by 24:00 CET on Friday 2 September. The same process applies to List B (more details below), which must be submitted no later than 24:00 CET the day before each match."
