Rangers take on old foes Sparta Prague this evening as the Ibrox club aim to get back to winning ways in the Europa League.

It's finely poised in Group C with all four teams heading into Matchday 3 on three points.

After dispatching Hibs at Ibrox on his Rangers managerial debut, Philippe Clement will be hoping to make it two from two but he has some decisions to make when it comes to his team selection.

With Borna Barisic and Dujon Sterling unavailable and Ridvan Yilmaz ineligible, who will start at left-back?

Our writers select their starting XIs for the game.

The big talking point from yesterday's press conference was Clement's lack of a left-back. This writer predicts that Ben Davies will slot into a back four. If Adam Devine were to replace Borna Barisic, the Ibrox side would be left without a left-footer in the starting 11. Davies is comfortable on the ball and agile enough to defend by the touchline. Plus, all around world football we're increasingly seeing centre-backs become full-backs, see Man City and Arsenal as examples.

That aside the team should be largely unchanged. The main question surrounds Todd Cantwell's positioning. Should he slot in as the team's No.10 or, as is perhaps more likely, play from the right and adopt a free role in possession. As covered earlier in the week, Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers pressed well from the front against Hibs. It's likely that Clement opts for as much continuity as possible - with Davies and Cantwell the only two changes.

Predicted XI: Butland, Tavernier, Goldson, Souttar, Davies, Lundstram, Raskin, Cantwell, Lammers, Sima, Dessers.

There is a feeling Ben Davies or perhaps Adam Devine will fill in at left-back with no Barisic, Sterling or Ridvan to call upon.

Davies is likely to get the nod but it would be good to see Devine afforded an opportunity. He impressed in said position when Michael Beale took over a year ago when Barisic was on World Cup duty with Croatia and Ridvan was injured. As much as he is predominately right-footed, he is comfortable on the left-hand side and isn't afraid of bombing forward. Clement is someone who isn't afraid of giving youth a chance and we may just see the 20-year-old pitched in.

That aside, the other alterations to Saturday's team will likely see Todd Cantwell return to the starting line-up, possibly in place of Sam Lammers. The former Norwich man is integral to this Rangers team and if he's fit he simply has to start.

Perhaps controversially, Scott Wright would keep his place in the team. His inclusion against Hibs raised a few eyebrows but, particularly on European evenings when the team needs to be disciplined, Wright is someone you can generally rely upon to do what is asked of him.

Cyriel Dessers will likely lead the line after netting at the weekend and with Danilo still regaining match fitness following his lengthy lay-off.

Predicted XI: Butland, Tavernier, Goldson, Souttar, Davies, Lundstram, Raskin, Cantwell, Wright, Sima, Dessers.
