Sam Lammers has clinched his exit from Rangers after agreeing a move to FC Twente.
The Dutchman arrived at Ibrox last summer as part of Michael Beale’s overhaul of his forward line. He failed to make an impression in Glasgow, though, and returned to his homeland in January with FC Utrecht.
Lammers has now put pen-to-paper on a deal until 2027 after finding himself out of favour with Philippe Clement this summer.
“I have had several conversations with the trainer and Arnold recently,” Lammers said. “I have a very positive feeling about that. In addition, the club FC Twente speaks for itself. What they are doing really appeals to me.
"We are going to play European football anyway and hopefully we will enter the Champions League. I will do my best to help with that. The club's ambitions are great and that suits me. I will try to help with goals or in some other way on the field.”

Clement has seen the likes of Abdallah Sima, Kemar Roofe and Fabio Silva leave Ibrox this summer as he overhauls the squad he inherited from Beale.
Lammers scored ten times in 18 appearances for Utrecht in the second half of the campaign. And sporting director Arnold Bruggink believes he can make an impact in the Eredevisie next season.
“It is very nice that we have been able to tie Sam Lammers to FC Twente for the next three years,” Bruggink said. “He is a very complete striker with a lot of experience, both nationally and internationally. In the last six months at FC Utrecht, Sam has shown what capabilities he has.
“He not only scores easily, but is also an excellent football player. In addition, his character makes him an excellent fit for the group of players and FC Twente. His arrival shows that FC Twente is once again an interesting stage for players, partly due to the European programme. Sam immediately joins the group.”
