✍🏾 Leon Balogun has penned a one-year extension. The centre-back was out of contract at Ibrox this summer but has earned a new deal after impressing Philippe Clement. Read more here.

📺 The decision to rule out Abdallah Sima's goal against Celtic was one that angered the Rangers manager following the Scottish Cup final defeat to Celtic. Speaking in his post-match press conference, the Belgian said: "When I compare with the push that Scales gives to Dujon Sterling in the first half, it is a much bigger push than what happened with Joe Hart.

"If I see also how all the Celtic defenders are grabbing my players and having their arms around their neck, around their waist, it is a really big call to make to disallow that goal."

🗣️ It was one of the main topics of discussion on the Morning Briefing earlier when Chris joined me on the show. We discussed whether VAR is being used properly. We also highlighted where Rangers need to strengthen and if it's time for a change in captaincy. Catch up on the show below.

🏆 There was cup success for the Rangers Women's team at Hampden yesterday as Jo Potter's side defeated Hearts to life the Scottish Cup. Stevie was in attendance for us and penned his thoughts on the game afterwards. Check his piece here.

❓ For our RR Extra members, Derek was in the hosting chair for our latest Q+A show. As ever, there were some really interesting questions posed including whether it’s time the Rangers support heard from chairman John Bennett. Click here to join our ever-growing community and gain access to an extra three to five videos per week.

🫡 Finally, despite the football season being over, we'll still be working away here at Rangers Review Towers. The Morning Briefing will continue every weekday morning and we plan to keep you updated with all the latest transfer news and more.
