Rangers have suffered yet another injury blow with defender Connor Goldson limping out of today's league clash against Motherwell.

The Englishman appeared to come off with a groin problem in the 86th minute at Fir Park and he was replaced by John Souttar.

With the game wrapped up at 2-0 Goldson's substitution could have been precautionary with key games to come this festive season, but the extent of his injury remains to be seen.

Asked about Goldson's injury at full-time, manager Philippe Clement explained: "I hope it will be okay. He felt a little bit in his groin at the end of the game. But we will see, we will make an assessment tomorrow.

"I don't know if players will come back. For sure, not many. We will see in the next couple of days. It's day by day seeing what the situation is."
