Rangers have announced the appointment of Nils Koppen as the club's new director of football recruitment.
Koppen, held the role of head of scouting at PSV before joining Rangers, having worked at the Dutch side across their academy and first-team since 2018.
The 38-year-old will begin his new role at Ibrox on January 2 and will be tasked with ensuring top talent is brought into Ibrox as well as leading the recently revamped scouting set-up.
Speaking upon his appointment, Koppen commented: “I am delighted to be joining such a prestigious club like Rangers in what is a crucial role for the club’s forward strategy.
“The chairman and CEO have both been clear in recent times our player trading model has to function better and on a more regular basis.
“I look forward to working with the scouting team already here at the club to ensure we reach our goals in the coming years.”
Rangers have also confirmed the appointment of Tom Taylor as the club’s new head of performance.
Working closely with Philippe Clement, Dr. Mark Waller and the first team squad, Taylor will join the Gers on December 22 from Premier League side, Brighton and Hove Albion.
