Rangers induct 3 members of the current squad into club hall of fame

They are the first inductees since Lee McCulloch, Fernando Ricksen and Nacho Novo were given the honour in 2014.

Davis and McGregor are in their second spells at Ibrox and have glittering domestic success to show for their efforts in light blue, winning titles during both stints. Northern Ireland international Davis has also played in two European finals having been involved in 2008 and in 2022. McGregor was unlucky to miss the Manchester final against Zenit through injury.

Tavernier has been at the club since 2015, having been signed from Wigan for a bargain £250k by former manager Mark Warburton. The 31-year-old captained Rangers to their 55th league title during an unbeaten league season. The right-back was also the stand-out player on the road to Seville and finished the tournament as Europa League top scorer, an incredible feat for a defender. He was appointed club captain in 2018 by Steven Gerrard.

The players were celebrated at a glittering ceremony at the club's state-of-the-art New Edmiston House venue next to Ibrox.

Davis, 38 and McGregor, 41, are out of contract at the end of the season.
