Here's everything the attacker had to say following his side's 3-1 win over Dundee yesterday.
You must be happy with a goal and three points?
Yeah always nice to score, especially at Ibrox. Overall I think it was a good win and a really good team performance, especially second half.
Does Danilo's injury increase the onus on yourself and Kemar?
No, not really. We know all three of us we have to be ready when the gaffer needs us, to provide for the team. I feel for Danilo, he works really hard I see it every day. To see him out hurts me because he's a really good guy, we have a really good connection off the field. I hope to see him soon on the pitch and meanwhile, we have to do our jobs for the team as strikers.
The team are showing a greater connection week by week?
You can see it from the outside growing. Maybe it's unlucky with the red card today but these things make you stronger as a team if you react well. I think we did react really well, we had a setback with the goal but scored three really good team goals and after the red, we still with one man down had the better chances. That says something about the team spirit as well.
When out of form, how do you cope with that?
As a striker, you want to score as much as possible. I speak with a lot of my teammates and the staff. The whole team is growing something. Every performance is going up and this is only the beginning. I hope we can keep going like this.
A physical battle in the second half, a side of the game you enjoy?
You have to step up with one man down. You try your best for the team to give them something. The distances get bigger for putting pressure.
How excited are you looking ahead to the next week?
We spoke at the beginning and what I noticed is that at Rangers every game is a big game but I can agree this week is particularly special. We have everything to play for but this performance gives us confidence as well for Thursday. Betis also had a decent result today against a good team! We will need to be at our best. The cup final is a big opportunity for silverware for this club. Everyone in the dressing room knows what it is about and we're looking forward to this massive week.
How much are you enjoying life under the new boss?
It is a good word, enjoyment. We are enjoying a little more football. We need to keep growing but you see a team that is not panicking when they concede a goal in the game, they stay calm and focused. We know our jobs and what it takes to win each game. When you do these things, the dirty side of the game, you will enjoy playing football as well. You see the patterns and the things you train during the week. For me, I really enjoy that.
