Everything Connor Goldson said to TNT after the game.

What did you make of the game as it was a pulsating 90 minutes?

Yes, it was a good game of football. They are a good side. The fans stuck with us. I know sometimes it's hard when opponents come here and have the ball - our crowd don't like it but sometimes you have to suffer to get there and I think we did that well tonight.

Talk us through the goals - they got the fans off their feet!

They were two great goals and in the first half we were under a bit of pressure and Abdallah comes up with a bit of magic. Second half, the counter-attack, that's what Rabbi can do. He's a top player, still a young boy but we need to push him to do that more regularly.

What went wrong with the equalisers?

The first goal is good football from them but the second is a set-piece. We have to look at it. It can't happen. We have a 2-1 lead. Over the 90 minutes we actually defended well as a whole team but you can't give away goals from corners.

How are you after a couple of heavy challenges?

I'm okay. I will be fine.

That showed what it means to both sides!

It means everything to us. We had a bad year in the Champions League last year and we are desperate to rectify that and put a better account of ourselves. The journey we have been on in the last few years in the Europa League to then get into the Champions League and give the account of ourselves we did was disappointing so we are going to give everything we can to rectify that.

Have you learned lessons for next week?

They are a good side, they play good football and have dangerous players. At times we have to suffer together and it will be the same away in the second leg. But we will get chances over 90 minutes there and we have to take them.
